I will be travelling on 15 September, the 60th anniversary of the invastion of Inchon.  Therefore I will not be able to comment here on that date.  I'm proud that several ANGLICO teams were involved to call for air support and naval gunfire.  One such team accompanied the Korean Marines on this date.

Marine advisors to U.S. Army General McArthur advised against this location for an amphibious assaut, because the tidal range is too extreme for a safe deployment.  But this location was idea for moving quickly to Seoul, if it were successful, and McArthur insisted that Inchon was the place.   History proved him either wise or lucky.  Either way, I am happy that we prevailed.
