South Koreans pay the highest respects As widely reported at home and abroad, South Korea successfully placed its domestically produced Nuri rocket in orbit on June 21,2022. It was officially confirmed that the rocket's performance successfully made contact with a base station in Antarctica after entering orbit. This great accomplishment has thus made South Korea the seventh nation in the world to have developed a space launch vehicle that can carry a satellite of more than 1 ton.
